Michigan's Conservation Districts are unique local units of State Government,that utilize state, federal and private
sector resources to solve today'sconservation problems. The guiding philosophy of all Conservation Districts
is that decisions on conservation issues should be made at the local level, by
local people, with technical assistance provided by government.
To provide natural resource assistance to private landowners, local municipalities and non-profit organizations, to help make managing your natural resources as easy as possible.

The Oakland Conservation District Office is open Tuesday through Friday of each week from 10:00 am till 4:00 pm. If office personnel are not available, please leave a message, and we will return your call.

The Oakland CD holds a Monthly Board Meeting on the second Wednesday of the month. Board meetings are held at the District Office located at
